Google Fiber coming to Monte Vista

Google Fiber is coming to Monte Vista! Representatives from Google hosted an informative zoom call on August 22nd for MVHA to answer any questions about the project. If you would like to view the presentation, please email mail@montevista-sa.org. Google Fiber will be doing construction in our neighborhood beginning in September for approximately 3-4 months.

What can we expect during construction? Construction is expected to occur between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily. In most cases, construction will be completed in less than one week upon entering your street. However, sometimes construction will take longer, depending on a variety of factors. Google will place a door hanger at your home and post “No Parking” signs at least two (2) days before work begins. Signs will be removed within one (1) day of completing work efforts. As a last resort, vehicles remaining in “no parking” areas while construction is taking place may be temporarily relocated via towing. If a vehicle is temporarily moved, the owner WILL NOT BE CHARGED and the vehicle will be put back where it was parked, or as close as possible.
