The Monte Vista Historical Association would like to invite you to a walking tour exploring the architecture of Monte Vista on September 16th.

The tour will be led by Rick Lewis starting at 9am at the corner of Gramercy Place and Belknap.  It will focus on how one Monte Vista street’s character has evolved by examining what house styles, immediate landscapes, and neighborhood context says about the values ascribed to a designated historic district today.  The walk will span the three-block length of Gramercy between San Pedro and McCullough Avenues.  Lewis is a licensed architect and recently retired Professor or Practice from UTSA’s School of Architecture and Planning.

Tickets are $25 per person. The tours are completely outside and attendees must be able to walk the tour. There will be a max of 20 people per tour.
